- Soak your carburetor parts overnight in a bucket of carburetor cleaner. Any cleaner from your local parts store is OK.
- When cleaning be sure to inspect under the main jets carefully. The 4100 is prone to getting plugged here.
- Run thin wire through all of the passages. This will remove the ethanol residue that cleaners simply cannot get out. We used to refrain from putting wire down holes because we didn’t want to enlarge them, but the ethanol is a bigger problem these days. You still need to be careful not to enlarge the holes.
