Holley 2280 & 6280 Feedback Version – 1964-1973 GM, 1978-1987 Chrysler
The 2280 carburetor number will be stamped on the main body on the fuel inlet side. You are looking for the LIST number. You may have something like R-7980A. 7980 is the LIST number and is all that is necessary in terms of finding the correct carburetor kit.
The Holley 2280 can be used as a replacement for early Carter BBD 2 barrels as well as Rochester 2GC on some vehicles.
The 6280 is the same as the 2280 with the exception that it has a mixture control and is used on closed loop computer systems.
