Setting the Float Level

Not all 4100 carburetors use the same float level. Refer to your instruction sheet to get the float level measurement. If you have a transplanted carburetor, then pick the application that is closest to what you have. If all else fails, set the float level so that it looks level to the top of the float bowl.
IMPORTANT! Do not put any pressure on the needle. The viton tip will be damaged and cause your carburetor to flood.
When adjusting, remove the float and bend the float where the hinge connects to the float.
The 4100 uses the same float level for both the primary and secondary floats.
The primary and secondary float are different.
