Hesitation, or bog can be caused by miss adjusted linkage. Be sure to follow all of the adjustment procedures.
Correct position of the S Link
Most Thermoquads will use this accelerator pump:
This is the pump intake. The pump brings in fuel through this check valve. The check ball is there so that it shuts off when accelerating, otherwise the fuel will return to the float bowl instead of out the main discharge.
