Holley 1940 Mounting Gasket

Wow, now the 1st thought you might have is. This must be the wrong gasket. Look at all the holes it will cover up.

As you can see the gasket below which is used on the Holley 1940 base you see above doesn’t have any cut outs other than the mounting holes. That is because they are not needed. Looking at the illustration we see that there are casting cut outs which go no where so can be covered. Any of the passages that you see marked are fed by the intake vacuum from inside the carburetor bore.
