Holley 1970 – Setting the Float Level
To set the float level on your Holley 1970. Install the float bowl gasket, then turn the carburetor upside down. Measure 1″ from the gasket to the top of the float on the end farthest away from the hinge pin. Be sure to measure both floats so that they are level. also make sure they are parallel so that the floats can’t rub on the side of the bowl.
