Adjusting the Holley 2 Barrel Float
Watch a video about adjusting the Holley 2245 float:
Invert the air horn upside down so that the weight of the float is resting on the needle & seat. NOTE: Do not put pressure on the needle. This can cause damage to the viton tip.
Measure the distance from the top of the float to the float stop. Use the specification provided in the carburetor kit instruction sheet. You can use a metal ruler, the ruler provided in the carb kit, or using a drill bit.
Adjust by bending the float lip toward or away from the needle, using a narrow blade screw driver. NOTE: Do not put pressure on the needle. This can cause damage to the viton tip.
Adjusting the Holley 2 Barrel Float Drop
Hold the air horn in an upright position.
The bottom of the float should be parallel to the underside surface of the air horn.
