Measure 1/16″ to 1/8″ in from the tip of the float.
Refer to the specifications for the float level. It can differ depending on model and engine.
Brass and black nitrophyl type floats are measured the same.
Do not put any pressure on the viton tipped needle. It will be damaged and cause flooding.
Do not bend adjustment by holding onto the nitrophyl. It could break the seal.
Float should be centered in the bowl. There is not much clearance and rubbing on the bowl side can cause flooding.
