Stromberg WW Float System

Stromberg WW 2 Barrel Float System

The WW float is used to maintain the correct level of gas while idling and at high speed. Fuel enters at the fuel inlet. As gas is used, the float drops allowing the needle valve to pull out of the seat, allowing gas to enter the bowl. Once the bowl is at the correct height, the float raises and the needle cuts off the gas flow.

The vent tube is used to vent the float bowl. This vents the bowl vapors and keeps the float bowl at an even atmospheric pressure. Without a vent, gas would get siphoned out of the bowl more than needed.

The float level is different depending on the application. Refer to the specifications included with our kits, or refer to your motors manual.
