Edelbrock Carburetor Rebuild

Watch a video about rebuilding the Edelbrock

Soak your carburetor using whatever carburetor cleaner dip your parts store has. Spray carburetor cleaner isn’t going to do it. Follow the directions on the dip. Soaking for too long could discolor your carburetor.
After soaking, wash with hot water to get ALL chemical out of the carburetor.
Blow through every passage, making sure the air goes all the way through. Pay special attention to the small holes in the venturi.
Do not use any gasket sealer on the gaskets.
Do not use any teflon tape on the inlet. It always ends up in the needle & seat.
